I had heard that it would include playing MP3 files and viewing digital photos, and that it might include browser-based remote programming (which it does), but the biggest surprise was the ability to share recorded programs between TiVo&#8217;s. Of course, they want you to have a service subscription for each of the TiVo&#8217;s, plus there&#8217;s a one-time upgrade fee ($99) to get the Home Media Option.  I just wish that the TiVo was a little quieter. Not that it&#8217;s that loud, but I find it difficult to sleep with any device in the room that includes a hard disk drive spinning all the time.
