Apollo Images
I just finished reading A Man on the Moon : The Voyages of the Apollo Astronauts
by Andrew Chaiken and started wondering if NASA had all of the photos taken on the lunar surface available somewhere. The Apollo Lunar Surface Journal has a very nice collection of images, but I’m still looking for scans comparable to the quality found in Michael Light’s excellent book Full Moon (sample images can be seen at his website).

New Hubble Images
Fantastic new photos from the Hubble Space Telescope’s Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS) which was installed last month during the Space Shuttle’s Servicing Mission 3B. I was showing these pictures to Michele and she just asked me why I hadn’t become an astronomer. I didn’t have a good answer…
