Io

I’ve always been fascinated by Jupitor’s moon Io, so I guess I get just a little more excited than a normal person would by NASA’s plan to have the Galileo spacecraft skim just 124 miles about Io’s surface on August 5, and possibly fly through the plume of one of Io’s sulfur-spewing volcanos. I’m looking forward to more great images like this.
