No, I really haven’t disappeared from the face of the Earth, it’s just been pretty busy both here and at work…
At least others are having the same problem – looking through my logs I noticed a referral from Chocolately Shatner (didn’t even know he’d added a link to me), and saw that he hasn’t updated his unique handwritten blog in more than a month.

ASIMO Humanoid Robot
Honda has announced their ASIMO Humanoid Robot. The site is in Japanese, but they have some great movies of the robots walking (even backward and sideways). They robot seems to be operated by what looks surprisingly like a Playstation controller!
Sony also demonstrated their prototype SDR-3X “Sony dream robot”. It’s only 20 inches tall, but can kick a soccer ball and dance.
