Looking for the Jail Cam?

I see a lot of visitors searching for the Maricopa County Sheriff’s office live Jail Cam in Phoenix, Arizona that used to be at CRIME.COM. I hadn’t realised that it was no longer online (I believe because of a lawsuit) – but here’s another one from the Anderson County Detention Facility Intake Center in Clinton, Tennessee.

    Thanks for the link/comments about our jailcam, I have spoken with the IT for the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office in regards to their website JailCams. He has advised that the JailCams should be back up and running within a month or so. They did have a lawsuit brought against them because of the placement of one of their cameras.

    Dear Deputy N. Brown,

    I think it’s very cool to have these cams going!

    I am not aware of any other live webcams on the net, other than yours. If you know of any other live cam sites, please let me know.

    I am hoping others correction facilites will start up the cams. I believe having an open cam in a jail setting can be a very positive move on the law and order process.

    I don’t know how the “Law” looks at jailcams and privacy. Is it possible to have a cam in other strategic locations.

    Just some food for thought!

    After all those months some info on the jailcams again !

    Dear law enforcement collegues

    Unfortunately I am from Europe and things like jailcams are absolutely unimaginable due to privacy things here.
    However I personally feel it`s a briliant idea to prevent
    less important(violent?) crimes even further.

    Try to conquer the protests and continue with the jailcams as they`ve been before.

    Just to let you guys know we have upgraded our cam to a live video feed, from the still images that refeshed every 2-5 sec.

    I really miss the jail cams,I have been interested in law for a long time seeing as my brother is a cop,I like to see what goes on.IS there no jail cams left turned on?

    just a matter of time before someone sues and wins a big law suit the cams will be gone for good so have fun while you can with all the federal privacy acts this to will pass

    this is complete bs,I really miss the jail cams,hey if people are stupid enough to land themselfs behind bars,put them to shame on the internet.

    Please, I want an address where I can to see people behind the bars. In Tennesee is different of Maricopa. Anyone know some site like Maricopa ? Sorry my bad English.

    Bonjour a tous, voici l’adresse d’un site de Webcam dans une prison, malheureusement il ni a qu’un Webcam qui fonctionne sur les 3. J’en cherche d’autre, mais cela est très difficile et moi qui suis en Europe, chez nous cela est impensable pourtant, cela pourrais être un moyen de sensibiliser les jeunes gens.
    Désolée mais je ne connaît pas l’Anglais.

    i was watching the anderson cam yesterday, and now it’s gone?! it’s so funny to watch people get booked into jail (especially the drunk ones). Hey, they were dumb enough to get there, right?

    The Anderson County jail cam LINK is Broken…
